Long, Dark Teatime of the Soul

Okay, the title gives me away as a Douglas Adams fan. Guilty as charged.

You may notice that there’s a bit of a gap between this post and the last. Like, oh, more than a year. Let me give the high level of what has happened in that time.

  • I lost my job
  • I spent the summer looking for a job
  • I finally got a new job
  • I worked my ass off so as not to lose said job

You may notice that nowhere in there does it say “Worked on my game.” That’s ‘cuz I didn’t. Frankly, I had to put my priorities in order and put the RPG on the back burner while I tried to get my life back together. It’s starting to look sort of stable, so it’s time to pull it off the shelf and blow the dust off of it. 🙂

In the meantime, I’ve also moved to a different site. I decided that if I was going to try to be a game designer, then I should go whole hog and put down every crazy idea that came into my head. That meant that the pitch-system.com site would no longer suffice.

So here we are at HotButteredAwesome.com. But more on that later.
